Should I Use Intel or AMD as of 2020

I was asked, about which brand and specs for a cpu would I recommend. AMD is the main choice.

"Are you a 100% sure you would not use Intel"
_"Yes, without resentment"

AMD has plethoric advantage over Intel processors. For a given price, you get a more power efficient, more cores and faster cpu with AMD's than Intel's. Subsequently, in terms of performance, AMD is cheaper. Intel has been lagging behind. Unable to reduce is cpu architecture, they got surpassed by those who achieved a 7nm architecture, AMD. Intel was the usual choice, but that loyalty won't stay no more.

AMD offers a broad range of processors. For servers and datacenters, the series to use would be AMD Epyc, for workstations it would be AMD threadripper and for household applications AMD Ryzen.

As an extra, AMD's incorporated graphics are far better than Intel's.
